A well laid out and professional looking site. I'm looking for ideas for my own site next year :-) Keep up the good work!

Hi
I really like your site
Im creating my own weather site in Denmark and would like to know if I can get some of the scripts
you are using to get information from weather display into workpress
Thanks

Hi Henrik,
Thank you for your kind comments about my website. Unfortunately I no longer use Weather Display but Cumulus instead. There are lots of freely available scripts discussed in the Cumulus Forum - feel free to ask me if you would like any more specific advice.
Regards, Simon (SpireWeather)

Dear Spire Weather
I really like your website and it is my go to weather app on my iPhone, I particularly like the records section, but for the last few weeks it has been unable to return any data. It works fine in the full safari window on my phone thou.
I hope you will be able rectify the problems quickly - I miss my Spire weather
Thanks

Are you using the new mobile app? Lots of features on the site changed on 1st June following a major change in the software used to collect data, and unfortunately the old app had to be retired...

Thanks Duncan, is there anything you miss from the old site or anything you'd particularly like added? It's still a work in progress but please do let me know.

Hi

I am currently writing a monitor program for solar pv generation and want to link it to weather data.

I am also using the steel series gauges which are very useful. (Have given up on Google ones.)

I am interested in how you are collecting the data. Is it possible to collect sunshine hours and or uv levels?

Are you using the Maplin usb weather station and what software are you running on the backend/

My programs are written in php. Yes even the monitoring which goes straight into a mysql databas.

I would be grateful for you help.

Thanks

Dave (Location Bournemouth)

this is a great website and really helpful but i would like to know if it is likely to snow this year as i can't find an outlook page for the rest of the year?
Replied on: 14:40 07-01-2013

Hi Milly, it's almost impossible to predict the British weather more than a week ahead, especially this winter, but it looks as though things will turn colder in the second half of January. As for snow, it's far too early to tell whether Salisbury will see any this year - we may be too far west! Thanks for your feedback.

Nice to be able to see the conditions of my birth hometown, and also see what poor old Phil Harding is enduring.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the work you obviously put into this site - we keep animals & it's a great way to keep an eye on the weather back home if we're away and to plan ahead. There is a wealth of useful information here, and your Twitter comments can be fascinating! Keep up the good work!
